Description
Kayaking around Meganisi Island – an exotic kayaking tour of this beautiful island in the Ionian Sea. With the kayaks, we will visit the Papanicolaou Cave, where the submarine Papanicolaou had been hiding in World War II.
Dates: when a group is formed.
Level of difficulty: the program is suitable for beginners and there is no need for preliminary preparation for kayaking.
Day one: we depart from Sofia early in the morning, after lunch we arrive on the coast of Lefkada island and set up the tents in a campground. We’re going to have a kayak trip at sunset.
Day two: After breakfast, we pack and load it on the boats, as we have a two-day kayak trip to Meganisi Island and its bays, and we will spend a night in the wild. We stop with the kayaks in the pretty town of Vathi on the island, as well as in small bays for the beach and relax. After lunch, we choose a beach to our taste, where we will spend the night.
Day three: We have another pleasant day with kayaks on the beaches of Meganisi Island. We visit the town of Asomeri. We’il be back at the campsite in the evening.
Day four: For those wishing to excercise with the kayaks at sunrise, we will kayak for about an hour in the morning and after breakfast we pack our bags and travel to Sofia.
