Description

Kayaking with the international regatta TID or “Tour International Danubien” is an annual paddling tour on the Danube that passes through almost all coastal countries along the river – Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia Bulgaria.

For nearly two months, kayakers in it passed about 2,020 km. The route is divided into stages, with one stage in each Danube country. Some participants pass the entire distance, others only separate stages, according to their desire and capabilities.

Day one: Departure from Sofia this afternoon. Join the paddling regatta participant’s camp. Overnight in Lom in tents.

Day two: We fold the tents, equip ourselves, listen to the safety briefing during kayaking on the Danube from Lom to Kozloduy. After kayaking we have the opportunity to walk in the Kozloduy town and visit the ship Radetski. The duration of kayaking for the day is 46km.

Day three: This day, our target is Ostrov. Since the stage is long we stop for rest on the banks of the Danube. In the afternoon, we reach Ostrov. The duration of kayaking for the day is 41km.

Day four: On this day we kayak 21km to Baikal. Due to the short stage for the day, we will have more time for rest and beach.

Day five: We paddle to Nikopol, the length of this stage being 42km.

Day six: We have the last day of rowing, reaching Svishtov. The duration of rowing for the day is 48km. We load the equipment and travel to Sofia.
