Kayak in Danube River delta

Description

Kayaking on the Danube delta – this is the most beautiful and attractive part of the river, which has been turned into a nature reserve. The area is covered with many canals, lakes and marshes. Our goal is to reach the sea by moving along one of the largest channels – St. Constantine and Helena. Georgi.

Day one – Departure from Sofia at 8.00 am to Tulcea in Romania. Equipping, instructing and about an hour of paddling to the first camp.

Day two-day four – we will paddle about thirty kilometers along the canal as we pass by swampy and marshy areas, where there is a wide variety of bird species.

Day five – we kayak for about 10 kilometers and reach the St. George, where the canal flows into the sea. We sleep on the beach, the next day by boat we return to the starting point – The town of Varna. Tulcea and we’re going back to Sofia.
