Description
Kayaking on the Tundzha River, which is located in the South part of Bulgaria. The river is the largest (left) tributary of the Maritsa River, which flows into it on Turkish territory.
Level of difficulty: the program is suitable for beginners and children and there is no need for preliminary preparation for kayaking
Day one – arrival at a suitable place for getting to the town of Elhovo, which is located on the left bank of the Tundzha River in the southeastern part of the Thracian lowland between Strandzha and Sakar among a fertile field. In the evening around the campfire, we will discuss the upcoming adventure and divide into doubles.
Day two – we collect the tents and camp, we equip ourselves, we hold a briefing, and then we row to the village of Srem. Kayaking for the day is a few hours, enjoying the nature and waterfowl around us.
Day three – continue to paddle to the area of Darkaya. Kayaking for the day about 4 hours. Departure rom Tundzha river.
