Description
Saturday: after breakfast and coffee, we reach the Vicos canyon, which is one of the biggest and prettiest in the Balkans. The river is with clear blue colour. We have safety briefing for the rafting and get equipped. The rafting trip is on a river grade 2/2+, not dangerous, but we enjoy the nature around us. The plane trees are above us, almost through the whole trip. With the rafts we follow the river way, passing picturesque curves, bellow the plane trees. During the trip we pass under beautiful stone bridges, where we stop for pictures. Transfer to the campground. Sleeping in tents in a campground.
Sunday: we prepare our luggage and transfer to the canyon of river Aracthus. The difficulty of the river is 3+, the canyon is one of the first in beauty in Greece. During the trip we pass through numerous rapids with different profile and difficulty. We stop on the river bank for a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. After the trip we head to Sofia.
Greek rafting safari has an option for additional day for a canyoning in the area.
