Kayaking in the Rhodopes lakes. You should try it
The most remarkable and variable mountain Rhodopes is filled with many lakes and dams. They are a great place for those wishing in a family or friendly circle, to try to paddle together and spend their free time in nature.
Level of difficulty: the program is suitable for beginners and children, there is no need for preliminary preparation for kayaking.
Dates: when a group is formed;
Day one – departure from Sofia early in the morning, we arrive in the region of Shiroka polyana lake and set up the camp. We get equipped and get to know to the ways of kayaking and start to paddle through the Shiroka Polyana lake, from where our kayak tour of the fabulous Rhodope Dams begins. After we get tired, we stop for a break on a beach, and then we continue our journey. We stop for kayaking photos of the unique landscape. In the evening, we discuss what we’ve seen and what we’ve been through near the campfire.
Day two– We are preparing the luggage there is a transfer to Golyam Beglik lake, and we are start exploring it with the kayaks. After the pleasure of kayaking, we go back to the shore, load the kayaks and head to Sofia.
