Last weekend our club was on the Arda River – wonderful, attractive and volatile river in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains. Its level is very volatile, depending on the rains and the it can be very high, so there may not be enough water for descent. The most suitable months for descent are February-May and October-November, and again it is not guaranteed that there will be enough level. The lucky ones, who did the rafting this past weekend, had long planned in their schedule the descent, and were looking forward to the adventure in the canyon of the Arda.

The next planned rafting dates on the Arda River are April 24th-25th and May 29th-30th.
