Description
Dates: 25th of May – 2nd of June or when a group is formed.
The program is suitable for people who already have little experience in kayaking and have a desire for adventure and challenge. In 9 days we will separate from civilization, and we will have to save the batteries for our phones, we will be without wireless internet, in solitude with nature and the group.
Day one: Departure from Sofia. Distribution of luggage on the boats and the beginning of our kayak expedition from Novo Selo.
Our goal is to reach Silistra by going all the way by kayaking, using two-seater and single-seater kayaks, optionally. The nights are in tents, on small islets, beaches, or wherever we choose to be comfortable. The most suitable hours for rowing are in the morning and at dusk, and in the hottest hours, we will have the opportunity for rest, beach and bathing. With food and water, we’ll get some during our onshore stops. The stages we will go per day are about 50-60km, depending on the camps we choose. During the kayaking trip we will observe swans, pelicans, cormorants, ducks and other birds.
Day nine: Departure from Silistra.
In the event that the group moves at a higher speed, the distance can also be taken in a shorter time and departure can be done earlier.
